Day one - today starts the journey - we leave for JFK in three hours (2pm Saturday) and land in Cape Town, South Africa Sunday at 9pm. It seems like a long time. Twenty-eight, twenty-nine... I guess that is a long time.
Spring is just getting under way here in NY. It seems a shame to leave at such a great time in the Northeast, but destiny calls. Elections are heating up in Capetown and I hear you can get free ANC t-shirts if you attend a rally. My love of logo-ed t-shirts has only grown, so if they're free in Africa...
